Facilities Manager
Nanosphere is committed to recruiting an outstanding Facilities Manager during a critical period of the Company’s growth and evolution. While reporting directly to the Company's Chief Financial Officer, the Facilities Manager will be responsible for the daily management of the office, manufacturing and laboratory facilities as well as planning for future build out for our Company that is rapidly growing and maturing.
Besides scheduling, maintaining and monitoring HVAC, water, electrical and other systems to ensure efficient operations, the Facilities Manager must be able to complete these tasks within budget. The Facility Manager will administer work assignments to technicians, vendors and contractors and manage the procurement of parts, services and labor. Other responsibilities include, preparing capital and operating budgets, support changes in office environments and think analytically to recommend solutions to new and/or complex facilities changes. Will provide support documentation in GMP manufacturing and R&D labs.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of direct, recent building management experience, preferably in the small, high-growth industry. Must have experience in Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and have the ability to make decisions on complex projects. The candidate must have the flexibility to operate well in a rapidly growing environment and have strong teamwork and management skills. A minimum of a 4 year degree is required.
