We are currently seeking qualified candidates for the following positions:

  • Research Associate

    We are seeking a highly motivated individual with a background in molecular diagnostic assay development, molecular biology, microbiology, or biomedical engineering. This position will spend the majority of the time in the lab environment and will report directly into the Product Development Team . This individual will be a key member of the product development team and will work in this team environment to create, develop, and commercialize FDA-cleared in vitro diagnostic (IVD) assays and devices.
  • Software Engineer

    We're seeking a talented and highly motivated software engineer with strong capabilities in embedded systems, software design, problem solving. The candidate should also have a strong desire to build clean, capable, reliable, and maintainable software systems.
  • Project Manager

    The Project Manager will be expected to lead project-specific cross-functional core teams with a focus on design control activities.
  • IT Support Specialist

    The IT Support Specialist serves as the primary contact for end-user IT support in the company as well as assisting the IT Manager with general management of the IT infrastructure.
  • Manager/Director of Regulatory Affairs

    We are seeking a highly motivated individual with a strong background in the preparation of regulatory submissions for the U.S. FDA and international registrations.
  • Production Operator

    Contract to Hire Position The Production Operator is responsible for a wide spectrum of manufacturing functions for the company. A key success factor for this position is the ability to be a self starter, highly organized, hands-on across a wide area of responsibilities and detail oriented. The Production Technician is expected to take ownership of recurring routine manufacturing steps, drive process improvements within the manufacturing and production areas and actively participate in improvement projects.
  • Quality Control Enginner

    The Quality Control Engineer provides statistical information for quality improvement by identifying testing methods and samples. Plans and directs activities concerned with development, application, and maintenance of quality standards for industrial processes, materials, and products. Develops and initiates standards and methods for inspection, testing, and evaluation. Also responsible for performing other related activities as assigned by the positions Manager.
  • Production Specialist-Oligo

    The Production Specialist is responsible for manufacturing oligonucleotides used in Nanosphere’s diagnostic tests. The oligonucleotides are used to prepare a variety of chemical reagents that are filled into assay consumables such as trays or cartridges. The oligonucleotide manufacturing process is a manual, multi-step wet chemistry process. Production Specialists are responsible for the operation of specialized computer controlled instrumentation such as synthesizers and purification equipment used in the manufacture of defined sequence oligonucleotides
  • Clinical Application Specialist

    The Clinical Application Specialist (CAS) will report directly to the Clinical Application Manager, and will serve as a key member of the company’s customer and technical support team. The CAS is responsible for a wide spectrum of technical functions for a company that is rapidly evolving. A key success factor for this position is the ability to be self-directed, highly motivated and hands-on across a wide area of responsibilities. The CAS is expected to take ownership of recurring technical functions including onsite customer training, and provide technical guidance and support of new and existing customers. This ideal candidate is someone with experience working in a microbiology laboratory, and medical device fields along with a great capacity for taking on additional responsibilities as the company grows. Currently, this is position is not based out of a specific territory and the candidate is expected to perform most job tasks while traveling or from a home-based office. The geographical locations covered would, however, exclude: California, Oregon, Washington, Montana, Idaho, Nevada, Utah, Arizona, Wyoming, Colorado, and New Mexico.
