In a recent issue of the Journal of Clinical Microbiology, researchers at University of Florida Health Jacksonville reported data from 74 in-patients with enterococcal bacteremia showing that implementation of Verigene BC-GP significantly reduced mean hospital length of stay and mean hospital costs by $60,729, compared to not using the test.
