Verigene® System instrumentation consists of a Verigene Reader and one or multiple Verigene Processor SP’s. The Verigene Processor SP is a modular, easy-to-use benchtop analyzer that combines automated nucleic acid extraction, purification, amplification (if required), and hybridization in each independent module for highly accurate, sample-to-result test processing. These advanced capabilities allow users to run Verigene Test Cartridges on-demand, without the need for batch processing, specially trained personnel, or specialized facilities. With the Processor SP, Nanosphere's menu of highly accurate, time-sensitive tests can be processed 24/7 in response to acute medical conditions.
The Verigene Reader manages sample information, reads results from processed cartridges, and allows for results printing, internal data storage, and LIS connectivity without the need for an external PC. Because one Verigene Reader can control multiple processors, throughput can be customized to the size and demands of each laboratory. Verigene Processor SP’s can be stacked to minimize benchtop footprint.
